History Of The Academy

Founded in 2017 as Ethio Silver Spring Soccer Academy under the Ethiopian Community Center, the academy was created to provide quality soccer training to underserved youth. In 2019, it became an independent non-profit in Maryland, dedicated to making organized soccer accessible to all children, regardless of financial background.

The academy has trained over 220 young athletes, offering professional coaching and mentorship. Beyond soccer, it fosters discipline, teamwork, and leadership, shaping well-rounded individuals prepared for success on and off the field.

Despite its success, the academy faces challenges such as limited resources and access to quality facilities. However, with continued community support, it remains committed to expanding opportunities for young players and empowering the next generation through the beautiful game.
